Aikibudo different from Aikido?

In fact, nothing. “Bu” in the middle of the word appeared in 1980, as explained by Master Floquet, in order to emphasize the existence of a clear system that distinguishes modern Aikibudo from many schools of Aikido. Basic moral principles (task repay aggression and desire for peace), as well as the basic technical principles (counter inputs – irimi, the rotational motion, the use of partner dynamics, control and elimination of balance, concentration and energy use ki) are the same.

Aikibudo as its original components – YOSEYKAH Aikido and Daito ryu AYKIDZHITSU referred to as “hard” schools (here also include school oshinkan based Gozo Shioda, school pupils and students of Sokaku Takeda, Morihei Ueshiba, the pre-war period).

Differences from the “soft” schools are manifested in the form of movements that are Aikibudo generally much shorter, simpler and more close to reality. In France Aikibudo effectively used in the army and police. Among those engaged in a lot of cops, and not by accident the main hall, where classes are held Floquet Teachers in Paris, is in the Police Department and is owned by the Sports Association of Police of Paris (ASPP) where he studied real aikido.
